All too often in the aftermath of catastrophes, the devastating & negative impact of nature's fury on the human element is initially highlighted, & then just as quickly forgotten or overlooked as the cameras & the media concentrate instead on provocative images of flattened buildings, flooded neighborhoods, & collapsed bridges. AWB-Oregon's disaster relief & response efforts always strive to focus on the most important element of our work: providing a tangible, positive benefit to those adversely impacted by the crisis.
