During times of catastrophic natural disaster, relief agencies are stretched to their limits. The sheer scale & enormous destruction of Hurricane Katrina have created unprecedented challenges for humanitarian groups; in the cataclysmic wake of the storm, thousands were injured or killed, hundreds of thousands left homeless or otherwise displaced. AWB-Oregon will be there, partnering with local, state, & federal agencies to revive the spirits of the survivors and reestablish the built environment.
